Cpu led red. Not posting

RAM issue

I got a Z170-A I7 6700K. But the motherboard shows a red led on at below the cpu. HELP. it happened after i realized my water cooler pump was spoiled and was running at 90 degrees. Now i have changed the cooler temporary. But the cpu doesnt boot

Look at the user manual and find out what the red light means

the user manual doesnt say anything about troubleshooting

The red led means problem with CPU. Check the 8pin CPU power connector. Make sure its all the way in. Unplug it and plug it again. If that doesn't help, reseat the CPU. Give it a bit of wiggle when you do it.

Tried already still red. could my cpu  be spoiled? Its brand new
