High gpu temps on hackintosh..plz help!

How hot is it getting?  MSI AB lets you set custom fan curves.

The copper heat pipes get very hot like its about 60degrees c according to me....although I can't check temps in Mac os

Check it in the BIOS.

EDIT:  Are you touching the heat pipes???

Is it 60C idling or 60C underload.

Either way, if you put a stress test on it and it doesn't exceed 90C, you are fine.

Yes it is over heating...it's shows 58 degrees in bios

.is there any software in Mac to control fan speed ?

Heard good things about this http://www.derman.com/iMac-Fan-Control

GTX 970's don't actualy start using their fans until their under load so I'd run something like Unigene Heaven/Valley or 3dmark and see if the fans turn on.

It's a Strix, you realize it won't run the fans until it gets up to 60+C, right?
