Still researching parts for a future build.  In looking over the spec's and videos covering the H100i, I found this on the NewEgg site:

Dual length 240mm radiator for increased surface area and cooling potential (Top Mount Required).

What kind of problems would there be if, in my case, it was mounted horizontally?

(Case in question is a HAF-XB by CoolerMaster)

If the tubing is long enough. mount the rad where ever, but usually there isn't enough room to reach from the front of a case on a closed loop cooler. (mounting it on the top is horizontal)

Available from 3pm to Midnight Eastern Time (GMT-5). (>'-')> <('-'<) ^(' - ')^ <('-'<) (>'-')> You can't stop the kirby dance.

the problem would be if the air inside the radiator were to re-enter the system

because of the way the radiator is mounted. like the H220 and its air problems

the H100 can have the same issues of air re-entering the system if the hose

placement isn't correct. could be gulping air all-day causing pump failure because

the bleed air isn't directed away from the inlet hose..
