Hello,

I'm considering to build a small server that will host a teamspeak server and maybe other things like OpenVPN support and related, with some friends. I don't think we'll install servers for games (like Minecraft). What will be your recommendations on this one?

Sounds like a raspberry pi :D

Can the pi run a Teamspeak server?

Doesn't appear that it will, the Linux versions are 32/64bit which sounds like x86/x86 and not ARM

I took a very quick Google into Server requirements for both Teamspeak and OpenVPN and the first couple of results suggest you could get away with a very basic system.. A Core2Duo with 2Gb of RAM and a 50+ Gb HDD would be more than sufficient.

You will be limited to your internet connection, primarily upload. My friend used to host a TeamSpeaker server and with about 10 of us on, he was almost saturation his 1mb upload speed.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800X3D | RAM: G.Skill 32Gb at 3200Mhz | GPU:  GTX 1080ti
