So i've been having an issue with my PC since POST.

I've had persistant issues with error codes from my BIOS splash screen. 9c, b4, a0, b4, a4

This resulting in constant BSOD's. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, IQRL_NOT_CHECKED_OR_EQUAL, etc.

However i've tested the motherboard with only my CPU, H100i, RAM and GPU, still same errors.

No fans or anything were connected to the motherboard apart from the wires to power them 4 components which is like 2 wires.

I've also tried virus scans, malware scans, MS troubleshooting, Memtest, BIOS checking, BIOS flash, BIOS Switch, GPU BIOS switch. Same errors and BSOD's.

So.... now i need help on what to do next. *Cost needing to be minimal with max 2 day downtime.*

The issue lays in them 4 areas. I personally don't think it's my CPU or H100i. I highly doubt its my GPU either.

I'm guessing it's my motherboard or ram... although testing with only 1 ram stick changed the post error codes, there were still there. Anymore than 1 RAM stick then it defaulted back to the same codes.

So either my DIMM's are damaged or the entire RAM set is totally fucked. I have no idea on what to do at this point, i just want it to be fixed.

Update; Look at comment 10.

do you have a pc store near you that you could go to, maybe they could test it out on a system there (not likely but worth a shot)

but my first thing to do would be to get a new set of ram anyways since its the easiest to pop in and test

I'll just have to try to guy a new set from Amazon when i get paid in 2 weeks then if it is that, sell the other set for as much as possible. Doubt i'd be able to send it back.

ram is usually easily returnable, the packaging on most ram can just be reclosed without much trouble, i would recommend buying it locally so you dont have to pay the return shipping

i mean the second set, buy it, test to see if it boots, if it does then you know you had bad ram and can rma the previous one, then return the local one to the store

if it isnt the ram you can STILL return it to the store since like i said ram packaging is usually easily closed back up

I have to buy it from Amazon again. Theres no local stores that sell DDR4 RAM. The UK.... classy technology stores.

Maplin - £300

PC World - Website Down

Amazon - £130

  • 3 weeks later...

So an update to this thread.

For people that can help.

My BSOD's are still apparent.

Getting a lot more game crashes now. At first i thought it was just Mad Max because of the reports from that game. However Witcher 3 has started doing it often now. I'm pretty sure that's well optimized as well. So now im starting to think my GPU is the issue and not my RAM/CPU or motherboard.
