mine only makes a slight noise from the vibrations passed on to my case. No noise coming from the actual pump.

while you were filling up the loop, did the pump ever run dry for a few seconds?

After bleeding the loop 2 hours or so, I start hearing a high pitch noise created by the pump. Does it naturally makes this sound or is there something wrong with mine?

When you mean high pitched do you mean like a whistle or coil whine high pitched.

I did run it dry for 4 seconds but that wouldn't break the pump right?

It could very easily damage the pump.

It sounds like an old CRT monitor high pitch noise so I guess more like a whistle.

Are you using a custom pump top?

i'd have to drain the system, remove reservoir, remove pump, remove pump impeller

and check the pintle support and see if it is badly scorned or deformed. the coolant

it the lubrication of that point and it is damaged, it can make some awful noises.

Unfortunately you've found out first hand that bayres with integrated pumps suck to bleed, and almost always have problems with air getting stuck in the impeller housing, which can cause improper pump priming. Running a D5 with no water, even for a second is enough to damage the ceramic bearing. If it's whining you've probably done damage to the bearing.

So if the impeller is broken, does it reduce its lifespan to like 2 years and can it still run normally?

it'll run, until the damage increases and fails. time-wise 2sec, 2min, 2hr, 2-anything..

you have the part, how damaged is it? we don't/can't render any comments to longevity.

Well the longer I left the loop to bleed, the silent the high pitch noise sound goes, could that be the micro bubbles dissapearing or just my ear just getting used to it. It runs fine and I can see the flow inside the res. It doesn't make any crunch noise.

If it's a D5 with adjustable speed, usually at lower speeds once the air has bleed out it is pretty much silent. If you turn it up to full speed and still hear the high pitch, then there has probably been some damage to the pump but should still be operational. As Airdeano said, won't know the real longevity. I would just run it on low or the max speed before you hear the pitch.
