Windows 10 crashing

Go to solution Solved by OAcesync,

It's the stock psu provided, 330w

Ok that's one possibility since generic PSUs are quite shitty

Have you tried Windows on a different HDD or SSD?

I've reinstalled Windows for several times already in the past few days but the problem still persist. It usually starts with a lag and then everything including the task bar becomes unresponsive, then it crashes.

I am using an Alienware x51 R2.

i7-4770

16gb ram

EVO 840 ssd 120gb + 1tb hard drive

Gtx 760

330w psu

Optical drive disconnected

This could be a hardware problem given that I transported the pc though a check in luggage of my flight (yes I now realize this is a pretty dumb idea), but I did surround it with clothes and take the storage drives out and put them in my hand carry backpack.

Someone help me pls

It worked in the past 2 years with the same config so I think it's not about the power supply

Still tell us the PSU tho we need to consider all possibilities

Nope. But I'm now using the ssd only, so far so good for 20min.

If you continue to have problems you could try installing the OS on the HDD

(Trust me it's not that bad)
