Hi guys im buying a new gpu really soon and was wondering if there is a difference between nvidia and amd cards (7970 and 770) on arma 2,3 and dayz. Thanks :)

I agree with the other 2, but to answer your question, no.

unfortunately i cant really wait as i don't have a gpu atm, i should probably have made the post clearer. Where i live the new cards will probably be super expensive anyway so im fine with buying the 7000 or 700 series

I wouldn't even include "Arma" and "optimized" in the same sentence.  :D

haha you have a point

yea, its not optimized at all, however, if you need a card now go for the 700 series from nvidia. I picked up two 770's and dont regret it one bit.

I would just get a 7950 like the MSI Twin Frozr 3 7950/ HIS IceQ X2 7950/ Sapphire Dual-X 7950 and overclock it to outperform the 7970 reference card since you need a gpu now. I would get the cheapest one out of those since all of these cards have great cooling and are great overclocking cards.
