4670k overclocking help

Hi, i currebtly have a 4670k cooled by a Cooler Master Seidon 240m (with corsair SP120's if that matters)

I a wonderibg what to set my multiplier to, and what voltage i should use. I have 2 sticks of 1600MHz X.M.P. RAM.

i used that guide to get to 4.5 ghz

Did'nt work for me, I'm just getting bluscreens every fifth minute. Any suggestions?

you should attempt these overclocks

he will most likely require less voltage since these results are based off a 4770k.

 

he is trying to overclock a 4670k, no hyperthreading usually requires less voltage for the same frequency.

 

based off this users feedback it sounds like he tried one thing and failed.

 

he needs to report back with his results and demonstrate he is trying all the recommendations as outlined in the OC guide.
