Alpine Ridge/Thunderbolt 3?

I'm a bit confused. Will all Alpine Ridge motherboards have thunderbolt 3 built into their type-C connector by default? or will I need to read carefully to make sure it includes the feature?

...Alpine ridge specs are 40Gb, i'm pretty sure. They bumped it up to PCIe3 x4, so... I don't know. USB is not a direct bus interface like PCIe, so I don't know if that would be the case, necessarily.

 

looks like it would be cool, so long as they get rid of the whole malicious-peripheral-can-plug-in-and-root-the-machine flaw in thunderbolt.
