Raspberry Pi v.s Apple TV ?

I'm currently using Apple TV, but it's so limited, and the aplications such as YouTube is really bad. 

 

What I intend to use it for: Netflix, YouTube, Kiss Anime, other streming services, Spotify, SoundCloud, and web browsing in general. 

Going to use it on my TV.

Can it play (YouTube, Netflix and other Videos) in 1080p without lag?

Wouild it work with my home theater system?

 

Should i change my Apple TV with Raspberry Pi? 

 

Is there any drawbacks of using Raspberry Pi compared to Apple TV?
