High frequency blocker program.

Is there any program that can do these types of things? Listening to the sound outputs before or under they are outputted and blocking the high frequency ones.

 

Why i´m asking for one of these programs is because of i really hate those sound effects or concussion sounds in songs or movies when you have tinnitus. They can worsen it for the rest of the day.

Try Adobe Audition with some filters etc?

You mean by fiddling with the equalizer?

Im not 100% it will work, but its worth a shot, 

 

if it does work. It will block all high pitch annoying sounds.

 

i have a physical eq (some 80's amp)  that i use, i don't have tinnitus (yet), but i still don't like he high pitch

 

 

the pc eq should help.

I will try redirecting the sound threw an eq with sound-flower as mac doesn't have an eq. But ty.

hmmm mac's don't have an eq?

do you watch your movies through itunes?

 

cause itunes has a eq built in. (at least on windows, i assume it would on a mac)

I use vlc. It seems that the mac version doesn't have program built in eq. But i´ll install a plugin.
