Corsair K70

I am shopping for a new mechanical keyboard -specifically- the corsair K70 model, unfortunately, I can't find the RGB model here in switzerland, is the red back lit model fine?.....Also I m wondering if the red switches are just fine for gaming and slight typing or the browns? I m not looking for any clicky or tactile voices.

Reds work for typing but browns will be more satisfying. For gaming they are perfect.

 

But i didnt know there was a K70 with only red back lighting, maybe wrong listing?

Could be the K70 RGB or the new Strafe (which in my opinion is inferior caused its made of plastic).

then you want the reds, they are not clickity and i use the non rgb model and have used the rgb version and honestly they are very similar

I knew that but i didnt know there was a model with only red back lightning. I thought the original k70 didnt have back lighting at all.

Nope, the K70 comes in a few variants and I've seen NewEgg list both the blue and red LED backlit variants.

I wish i knew this earlier. I run my K65 RBG in a only red anyways...
