Compatibility issue: Wireless Network Adapter / Windows 10

Hello all,

So I just recently ordered all the parts for my custom built PC and assembled it. I have a Asus PCE-N53 Wireless Network adapter which on the Asus website says Windows 10 (which is the OS I am running) will automatically detects the device and install the latest drivers if there are none already. I've tried everything - yes, I tried manually installing the latest driver from the DVD-Rom that came with it and I also tried the Windows 8.1 driver (since none was listed for Windows 10). I talked on the phone yesterday with Microsoft for almost two hours and they took remote control of my computer and did a series of different things and could not fix the problem.

The thing is, Windows 10 does not even detect the wireless network adapter in the Device Manager. I plugged in this hardware into my old desktop running Windows 7 and it automatically detected the hardware and listed it in the Device Manager and it said it installed the drivers (Though nothing appeared for it under Programs in the Control Panel) but in the end it did work on my old desktop so it is not defective hardware.

Does anyone have any solution for this before I attempt to get my money back? Is there a way to manually make it become listed in the Device Manager?

Thanks
