Streaming sound from an RDP

I'm about to start a project that will stream sound from a server to my computer. Specifically it will be creating a skypebot that I can remotely use from another computer.

While that wont be too difficult to create the problem lies with the RDP's sound card, well lack of one. Will I be able to stream the incoming/outgoing sound without a sound card? Or will I have to download a virtual one?

 

This would be really easy to test with a youtube video, but I'm not going to buy an RDP until I know more about situation.

Also is there any specific framework I should be using? I doubt many servers come stock with 3.5 or higher so I was thinking 2.0? If I'm not mistaken most servers should have that.
