hp pavilion tx 2000 tabletpc

I got one of those older hp tx 2000 tablet pc amd CPU and ati radeon gpu I had this problem with the screen the famous problem of this series of tablet pc when I turn it on it boots up but the screen stays black and at first i thought its the screen but then I checked it online and found out that a lot of people have this problem and complain about it and then I found that you can fix it by aplying heat to the graphics chip with a fan and something like that but does it really work ? Or is it a fake trick ? Help plz idk what to do with it. Thanks in advance
