Looking for a new notebook for travelling and study overseas

KarsonC

Hello guys,

I have looked though the market of notebook(laptops) that I can afford in my local area(Hong Kong). The first choice would be the Lenovo T450s(special offer : USD 999),offering the following:

8 GB ram

GT940m 1GB

Backlid keyboard

Battery life over 10hours

Full HD IPS display 14"

Those specs are what I am generally looking for, hoping it lasts till the end of my study and carry around to substitute a desktop PC.

Just would like to know you guys suggestions and opinions. :-) cheers

Possible below USD1000, but I am thinking is 920 much better since I know I can get the Lenovo U41 with similar spec, lower battery life, no backlid keyboard and shorter warranty

I need it to draw CADs and some 3D rendering to have a quick peep of what I am going to have when I make it to batter resolution on desktop,

4k ready, would like to play low-mid setting  in battlefield 4 or so if possible
