Hello guys,

I am trying to get a good build together for my new Game PC.

I've read soooo much that i dont know what i want anymore.

It has to be something that will last for some years, but is kicking *ss right now.

At least i want 250/500GB SSD, thinking of a MSI 970 ( or better ).

What do i have, a Coolermaster HAF X case, 850W PSU, and a Aftermarket Cooler.

I want to spend max 1500€ for this build. What do you guys recommend to me?

Greetings Niels

I assume the 850w is for expandability?

1500€ is a nice budget and i can put a 980ti in there, but that horse power would be wasted of only using a 1080p monitor.

Should i go with a 980 or 390x or are you also considering a monitor upgrade?

A new monitor will come eventually, when there's money available that is.

I'd recommend the 980 Ti in that budget. Even if he is not going to upgrade, it would still be worth it.

A few options if you want an i7 is to go with a 250gb ssd instead OR you can go back to Z97 and get a i7 4790k. But an i5 6600k will deliver good performance. Upgrading to an i7 (either i7 6700k or i7 4790k) will give you you additional 10fps (in witcher 3).
