So occasionally - once every 2-3 seasons I'd get a second or two where the vid is corrupted-like (mostly grey and square parts are normal) - like I said for 2-3 seconds and it goes back to normal - I rewind and it's fine. Is that any reason to be concerned or is it just a hiccup?

Before you ask about temps - 31*C on the GPU core and 19*C on the CPU

Artifacting in games - I've noted black things flashing in Chivalry, though I've done some digging and apparently it's an issue with the game from what I found on the OC3D forums - something about GCN not liking DX9 all that much. I also spoke to an Nivida owner ingame who complained of the same thing. Likely a game bug
2 times in SC2 I've had a dark line flash in the middle of the screen but I assume that's the game and/or a program in the background since once I had the AV scanning and the other time 10 tabs open. It was only present for a fraction of a second - you could say I blinked really - I just notice these things too much xD

No real idea - only been using VLC - flash has done crazy shit :D

Yeah - like my tital says - I get psyched easily - something that now seems like a bunch of software bugs almost made me attempt to RMA the card - had it in the box when I decided maybe wait till issues are at least consistent across games :D

I think it has something to do with the codecs in VLC or it is some error when the CPU chokes. This doesn't happen in other players such as MPC. This was one of the reasons I switched back to MPC.

Yeah - I guess. Like I said - it's extremely easy to scare the living daylights out of me :D

I should mention - I watch TV series in low quality (480p - 720p) to save space - that means poor compression as well - 350 MB max per 1 hour vid
