laptop battery ?

I Have a ASUS G51V, I cleaned all the inside of it (and the battery) yesterday but now when i try to turn it on the screen lights up a bit and the leds turn on but it dosent show the ASUS splash-screen is this the battery or something else ?

(before it wouldent boot at all it would turn off when i got to the desktop)

Already Tryed all that stuff with battery without and ive looked and made sure everything is plugged in right as-well.

i Believe  this is a battery failure from using it so long i used it for 4 years so i will just get a new battery and power brick.
