Intel processor? Sandy Bridge or higher? i3/i5/i7? Intel Quick Sync. Other than that I dunno.

Pentium G3220. I tried Quick Sync in CS:GO and normally I'd get around 140ish fps when not recording, but when I do, it drops down to 30.

I'm also sort of considering a CPU upgrade, but if I can get it to work with this CPU that would be great.

try only using a single core if you're recording

dual cores suck ass for recording imo

How would I do that?

Would I just set Affinity Cores in Task Manager for CS:GO?

Yeah, I sort of realized that. Budget was a bit tight, and the shop didn't have the G3258 which was what I was going to get.

Yeah, pretty much. Just set the process affinity for both CSGO and *insert recorder here* to opposite cores.

So basically CS:GO on core 0 and my recorder on core 1?

yeah, but make sure in the game settings that csgo is disabled from using both cores
