BootMGR Missing Error (Windows 7 USB Installation)

ANUPLUCIFERGAMER

Hey Guys! Have a new problem here! I'm using my old PC which has Ubuntu 10.04 on it. (I am downloading 15 as a backup). I want to install Windows 7 on it. So I have downloaded the .iso from microsoft (I will buy a key from G2A if possible) and its saved in my PC. The problem is, we here don't get good DVDs. So I want to make a bootable USB. I have a 4GB pendrive as of now. I followed the steps from here and finally I got this :

After rebooting, PC says BOOTMGR is MISSING Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart. Thats what happens. I have a 16GB Pendrive, but in there, Ubuntu doesn't  mount it and wont let me mount the pendrive, which leads to the error of Unetbootin (You must first mount the pendrive etc).

Please help me. Where did I go wrong? I really wanna install Windows 7 on this PC. Fed up off Ubuntu.

The problem you have is that Windows will not boot from an ISO. You have to create the bootable media. You go to this link and download the media creation tool that will install and create the bootable USB media for you.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

will that software install on ubuntu?

Hmm.... apologies it didnt register about the Ubuntu. Installing it on the USB drive it might work, you are not actually installing it on the Ubuntu machine, your installing it to the USB. Might work or you might have to get on a Windows or Apple machine to get the media created on the USB. Apologies....
