DVI Help!

Okay, So i am saving for a Asus VG248QE, 144hz 1080p monitor, all that jazz, and am getting pretty close. So I would like to clear up a thing I've been worrying about, so I don't get home with the monitor, all excited, and then have to go back to the store. ANYWAY, I have a GTX 760 ti (This is my second monitor btw, so one DVI input is blocked) that has two dvi inputs, and a display port input. So, on microcenter, where i'll be purchasing it from, says that it comes with a dual link DVI cable. Attached to this post is a picture of my free DVI port. Will it work??? Should I just buy the display port cable for 10-20 dollars???? Please and thanks!
