Hey guys.  I just recently bought a Corsair 600T case and I'm wanting to water cool my system.

I don't want to do a bay res/pump combo since I want the front of my case uniform and I also like the look of the

tube res's. I plan on mounting a 150 tube res right behind the 5 1/4 bays near the 2nd column of rubber gromets, and

I've also modified the case to fit a 360 rad in the top. In addition to that, I'm putting one mechanical drive in the 5 1/4 bay to keep it hidden.

So basically, I'm looking for the best small/compact pump. I wanted to mount it on the bottom of the 5 1/4 bay, it Just can't be higher than 2 5/14 bays high, and needs to fit all the way in without being seen from the side since I have the window side panel.

I'm new to water cooling so I don't know alot about pumps and whats available.

Any suggestions?

Thanks guys

The Laing DDC is the smallest pump you can get that is actually reliable. There are others but they don't come close to the 50,000 hour MTBF of the Laing DDC.

EDIT: Technically a Laing D5 pump could fit in that space but a Laing DDC is sufficient.

I've got a D5 with a ek150 pump top/res on. There pictures of how I've mounted it etc. in my build log)

You could also mount it like this: http://i.imgur.com/ZkGcO5n.jpg

You can get the same top for the MCP355 if you want it to be slightly more compact. Or simply just mount the MCP355 in the 5 1/4 bay :P

Edit:But if you mount the pump that high, it might be a problem with having the reservoir lower, making it so that it wont feed the pump with water properly.

Thanks for the info, I'll look into that pump. Reliability is definitely important.

Yea, I was going to mount the pump on the bottom 5 1/4 bay and mount a 150 cylinder res near the top right side grommets. I think that would be high enough to make sure the pump stays filled with coolant.

But I may have to just go for a setup like yours. I just really don't want to see the pump. (Which is another reason I really want the cosmos II) but I was going to do a bottom psu cover, so maybe I can extend it far enough to cover a pump on the bottom. Thanks for the suggestions =)
