I have a samsung evo 850 250gb.

I didn't change any settings in crystal disk mark.

Desktop 1: CPU: Intel Core i7 4770  GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 Ram: Crucial DDR3 2x8GB 1600 MHz  Storage: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB and Segate 1TB Hard drive  Desktop 2: CPU: Intel Pentium G3258  GPU: AMD R7 250  Ram: Corsair Vengance DRR3 2x8GB 1600 MHz  Mobo: MSI H81M-E33  PSU: Corsair CX430M  Case: Rosewill MicroAtx Mini Tower

These are normal speeds for a SSD that works on a SATA3 (6Gb/s) port. If you are doubting them, you can always check the spec sheet or the manual of the specific drive and compare your speeds to the ones on the sheet. Moreover, you can look online for benchmarks of the same drive model. If you are not sure that your drive is functioning properly, I would suggest to run a diagnostic utility that's provided by the manufacturer and see if the drive passes the tests. :) Contacting the manufacturer is always a good idea when you have questions.

Ok thanks! I have sata 3 and ran the tests in samsung magician, but they seemed to get different results each time so I wanted to try another benchmark.
