The Witcher 3 HELP!

Ok, so i played the witcher 2 and chose lorveths path, then started witcher 3 and imported my witcher 2 save game. turns out it was the wrong one, i imported a save at the very start of the witcher 2 so i got the questions from the dude when geralt was getting a shave in the beginner of witcher 3 to fill in the blanks from witcher 2.

 

However i cant remember who i told him i left flotsam with, Roach or Iorveth and ive just completed witcher 3 and dont want the same story.

 

i was going to play witcher 2 again and pick roach then witcher 3, but turns out i may have just done the roach story line in witcher 3 anyway!

 

So basically i think i may have just played witcher 2 with lorveths story and then witcher 3 with roaches story, can some one please help me figure out if i have??

If you imported W2 save correctly there should be no questions after the shave in W3 because it gets the answers from the imported save. Correct me if I'm wrong.

yea i know but i imported the wrong save, the one i imported was before you made the choice of Roach or Iorveth

Oh. I think you need to import the last autosave from the very end of the game once you've confronted Letho for the import to work.

Yes I know, what im trying to find out is what witcher 3 story I played, roaches or lorveths, what key story bits are there in each so I can find out which I played

Whatever path you took is going to matter very little in the grand scene of things.  It's going to be literally a couple of NPCs making quips about Vergen in the case of Iorveth's path and some extra bits of dialogue from Roche.  Like Roche saying that although you did choose to go with Iorveth in the previous games he still trusts you yadda yadda.

 

The biggest difference is what you did with Letho really.  Saskia isn't mentioned at all and King Henselt is mentioned once (aka he was backstabbed by Radovid), which means that if I went through the Roche path Radovid probably would've taken over Kaedwen without any bloodshed or something.

 

TL;DR it's not going to change anything that will happen in the game, only the events leading up to the current war situation and some dialogue options, enjoy the game.

I actually remember his saying something like that in the game i just finished, thanks i can do the roach story now.
