I'm buying a Steelseries Rival, and it comes free with a standard QCK mousepad. However, I was thinking about buying the QCK+. I play CSGO at a fairly low DPI. But I did the measurements, and the QCK+ will barely fit on my desk, and it would be 15 dollars. So, is it worth it to upgrade to the QCK+, or should a normal QCK be just fine for low-ish dpi CSGO play? Thank you in advance.

And PS, don't say "Just get (non-Steelseries mousepad) here", because I'm trying to go for the full Steelseries setup.

If you're not a neat freak and don't mind things not being perfect, go for the Qck+. Even if it overhangs off your desk or your keyboard sits on the edge of the mousepad or something, it's still great to never feel the edge of the mousepad under your hand while playing CS. I have the Qck+ and my keyboard has to sit on the left edge of it for my keyboard hand to be comfortable. It never feels slanted though, so me upgrading from a Qck to a Qck+ is still a decision I'd make again in a heartbeat. I just can't go back to normal sized mouse pads. Also, I play CS at 850 dpi which makes large flicks go just close to the edge, but never over.

Even if the QCK is free? And even if I get the QCK+ I still get the normal QCK for free. What should I do with the regular one, lol

Buy the QCK+ if you are playing with low sensitivity. I've had the QCK (regular one) and it was small for me when playing with 800 DPI. Why don't you just try the regular one and decide whether to buy the + or not?

Sell the regular QcK you get with the Rival, and get a QcK+. I use it right now, and it really allowed me to drop down my sensitivity. I'm playing at 1.85 @ 400DPI, which is even lower than what most pros use.

Don't know why I didn't think of that. That's exactly what I will do! Thank you!
