I am wanting to build a totally new computer. I dont really know where to start. I have a $1200 budget. I would like a dual graphics card config, a radiator liquid cooling ,some kind of i7 processor, and 16gb of RAM. Other than that I am not really sure where to go. If anyone can help in anyway, it would be great. I will be mainly using this for gaming. It will be used in a duel computer streaming config, my current computer is an X51 R2:

  • i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Ti OEM
  • 16GB RAM

1. one stronger card is better than 2 slower ones

2. 8gb of ram is enough for gaming

3, you can get a liquid cooler for the cpu in that budget but not an all liquid cooled build

If you don't plan on using your old computer after building the new one, I'd just reuse the 16 gb of ram.

I do plan on still using my original computer, and the currency is USD.

I will also be using the computer for editing>

Is this computer only used for editing or will it be used to game? If gaming, what sorts of titles?

This is what you asked for. Except for the dual gpu. Dual gpu is simply not reasonable given the budget. This system will handle the addition of a second gpu without problems.
