Hi guys. I'm building an app for the iPad and I need some help with making a moving image.

I want some software that will let me put objects on top of a video loop (for example) and dictate their path across the screen. If it can make "random" paths for me, then thats even better. I want to make a loop of a bunch of sheep floating through space which doesn't have an obvious start and stop frame. The image part i can do, but as soon as i want anything moving, I'm stuck.

Any ideas?

Chris.

You guys are crazy. You know you guys are self-destructive. There's a funny farm somewhere and it's got your names written all over it. But I'm gettin' outta here.

Cheers for the reply!

I have no idea about any video editing programs :( ...I can make gifs though.

My plan was to make gifs of each element in the "scene" with very light animation, then import them into a program of somekind that lets me set animation "paths", similar to PowerPoint but only much better (hopfully).

Anything like this available? I'll take a look at "pivot".
