I'm planning on getting this for my new rig (an i3 and a 960). what are you guys thoughts on it. I know its a bit overkill but I want room to upgrade to an i5 and 970 in the future.

My rig: r7 1700 @ 3.9/1.35v, 16gb ddr4 3200, assorted rando SSDs, hx 1050, vega 64 1650/1025

im aus and i chose this one cos i can get it from msy (a local store) for $50

I wouldnt get it. how much can you get this for? I would only get evga, corsair (some psus only), seasonic and other notable brands. If a psu dies everything else does with it.

i can get it for $60.  its only a little cheaper than a corsiar vs-550

Wow Australia sucks. its just big island so things need to be shipped lol. Never knew things were this bad. Still I would get this dont get the corsair one. Only good psus from them are rm and ax.

Its not 80+ anything. You can't trust its rating at all
