Using a PA System for audio... Anyone ever try this?

It just dawned on me the other day... I have a PA system I dont really use anymore, and it would be SOO BALLING if I used it on my computer for speakers. Here is what I have.. How can i make this work??? Thanks!!

Im going to say that likely you can, but I would need more info on the "powered Mixer" to see if it is actually possible.

The only problem i can see is that the speakers would simply be too loud for a small room and wouldn't be practical at all.

I dont remember what mixer it is, since a family member has had it for a couple years but its 800w rms. so it matches everything else in the system. I dont think they would be too loud at all. We used them for little parties in a garage for like 15 people, and it was around the same level i have my speakers at now. I just thought everything coming out of them from a computer would be so awesome, there would be no quality loss. I just wondered if someone had did this before and how I can do this as well.
