I just installed 355.60 drivers and am using a gtx 970 asus strix.

and I have the same problem.

I'd reboot after installation and got a windows crash message just as I got to windows saying something about display bla bla, i didn't read.

However I can't use windows aero theme really.

And minimizing windows and opening windows again feels like its glitching a bit.

awful. Guess i'm going back to the 353.62 update.

yea... it seems that we have the same problem here buddy

the aero theme can't be used at all.

and when we troubleshoot it, it says something about GPU driver.

Have you restarted since you installed the new driver?
