So I bought an EVGA 980 SC a while ago, and bought a back plate along with it.

I'm looking to put another 980 SC in SLI - however it seems the only 980 back plate available on the market is for the 980FTW edition - with that model of back plate not fitting the SC version.

Basically trying to find a 980 backplate that'll fit my card, but can't find anything reasonable (Australian markets are charging ~$90AUD for the matching back plate....

Looking for any that are available to ship to Australia. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Ta,

saya.

So you're after the non-reference model of the backplate?

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

So you're after the non-reference model of the backplate?

If by reference you mean the NVIDIA designed back plate - then no.

From my understanding, this is the EVGA backplate that will fit any 980 reference PCB.

There are similar, almost identical evga 980 back plates for the FTW edition, however they do not fit a reference PCB due to a few chips and screws being re-positioned.
