Hello there fellow forum dwellers!

I seem to have some issues with my OBS recording setup that I have only recently stumbled upon…

The main thing is that in any recorded video I seem to have rendering issues with squares on the screen. I have no idea why they are there but it mainly happens with fast paced scenes.

I have a two images from two scenes in two games. One within CallOfDuty: Black Ops 2 and the other in Unturned. In both of these, I moved the camera quickly and I had the problem.

I can’t see the issue within the OBS Preview screen or within the games themselves.

Black Ops 2 scene: 1080p 60FPS

Unturned Scene: 1080p 30FPS

With Unturned, I was able to reduce the issue by going inside of buildings. Here, the issue was barely visible.

Here is my OBS log file:

In both games, I have all settings on max and both run at 60FPS with no issues.

EDIT: I also recorded my desktop and web browser and messed around a little. Even when my system us not doing anything and should be fine, I get the graphical issue when scrolling through a webpage up+down quickly.

Let me know if you need any other information and/or data.

i guess it could be that your bpp (bits per pixel) is to low

bpp explained: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_depth

Edit:

for 1080p the bitrate should be at about 8000 kbit/sec

  for 720p at  5000 kbit/sec
