if your just gaming, drop to an i5 4690k , 8 GB RAM, and a 120 GB or 240 GB SSD and invest that money back into the gpu

id change the psu to an xfx or seasonic one.

Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory is a better memory kit for this build. The modules will fit under the overhanging fan of the Hyper 212 EVO in its nominal position. Also slightly less expensive.

 

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB SSC ACX 2.0 Video Card matches the color scheme a bit better, IMO. Performance should be a touch better.

 

EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply is a better and slightly less expensive psu.

 

Consider an IPS panel monitor like Asus VN248H-P 23.8" Monitor. Better color reproduction and wider viewing angles.

Went with a i5 6600k build. Considering how much you were going to spend, with those changes you could go with a 980 ti for relatively the same price. as others will say, buy the OS elsewhere
