Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my computer:

It doesn't want to automatically go into sleep mode, nor will it stay into sleep mode, it just wakes up.

To try to fix the not going to sleep automatically, I've done the following:

- Disabled hybrid sleep in power management (along with other settings).

- Checked powercfg -requests, and override the requests with powercfg -requestsoverride

- Disable anything that has to do with screensavers and the like

For the other problem (the random wakeups) I've tried the following:

- Checking powercfg -lastwake, which is not helpful at all. It shows me this:

       JfHb7G4.jpg

- Checking event viewer, which shows the Wake source as "unknown":

      dxOrcbC.jpg

- Editing group policies and registry to prevent Windows update from waking the computer

- Checking device manager and disabling "allow this device to wake up the computer"

- Disabling "wake on pattern match" in the built-in network card (which isn't used, but whatever)

I really have no Idea what to try next, so I'm looking for suggestions.

Check Windows Update, that woke up my computer on one occasion:

I complained to Microsoft about the issue, where the computer could have been woken up whilst in storage etc, not in ideal operating conditions, or even in a bag. They recieved the complaint and sent me back a questionnaire about windows 10 dry.png

I did. I read that they are now mandatory, so figured it could be the culprit. I went into group policy editor and disabled it. Pic:

Also, if it reallywas windows update, I guess it would say so in the event viewer, like it did with yours. Mine just says "Wake source: Unknown", which is far less helpful :P

They got smart and removed the group policy editor from the Win10 Home sad.png. There should be a way to put your computer to sleep though. Which programs are running on it? Check your scheduled tasks and see if anything is listed there to wake up the PC.

It's not there on home? Damn, I don't see why they would hide settings... There's a registry key you can add as well though. Found it here:

http://superuser.com/questions/357033/windows-update-waking-machine-from-hibernation

I followed both answers, to no avail.

As for scheduled tasks, nothing there that can restart the PC, unless it's in the huge list of tasks in the microsoft folder.
