This HTPC case isn't that cool, but I thought I should mention it. I used it for my build.

nMediapc 7000b

It costs around $80 USD.

I originally had this case...

Thermaltake Mozart Media Lab

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/thermaltake_mozart_with_media_lab,1.html

I got it used for $80 at a local shop in great condition. Great looking HTPC case and good to build with but a little light on HDD storage.

So I upgraded to this...

Silverstone GD08

I want to truly load the thing with HDD's as expansion is always an issue and I figure this will future proof me for a while. Also note Linus' video review was a great help to my deciding factor!

I might be building a HTPC/HMPC in few months time using my old lga 775 based system and I came across this case:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Powercool-HTPC-002-Case-Display-Remote/dp/B008XI7EPA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1365582040&sr=8-1&keywords=HTPC002

Cool feature is that it fits standard atx psu and even atx mobos, although it has some restrictions.
