Hello Folks!

I've finally decided to build my first very own compute, as I am tired of buying "pre"-build ones.

My goal was, to get the best out of my budget as I possibly can. I'm rather new to this community so I'd appreciate your thoughts on my custom build.

My Budget is set around 1200€.

I'm always curious for advice, so please help me make my dream come true :)

aren't Xeon CPU non-overclockable? id get an I5-4690k instead

and yeah the Power supply will not last. I always budget at least 120$ + for power supply. aim for a 80 GOLD+ or Bronze at least.

may your framerates be high and your temperatures be low. #pcmr

If I remember correctly Xeon's aren't overclockable. But I did not really plan doing it anyway

Isn't that a 80+ Bronze PSU I have there?

if you dont plan on overclocking, you dont really need a z97 mobo and an aftermarket cpu cooler...imho.

the psu is a bronze, but i've read to many times how Corsair CX series fails.

Yeah, I don't get it, tons of great reviews for the CX series on Newegg, but so many people angry with them failing and whatnot.

Oh, I didn't know that. Do you know any mobos which would fit the cpu?

And I've chosen an aftermarket cpu cooler, because I've read that the stock ones are quite loud and do not cool the cpu sufficient.

Concerning the psu i haven't done any research, thanks for the advice. I'll look out for another

Can you recommend me another PSU?

I'll recommend this: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10600kr Have heard mostly good things about EVGA PSU's, if anyone has better suggestions feel free to chime in.
