i have a mini sata ssd but i dont know where to put it in my pc. i tried putting it where the wifi card goes (it didnt fit 100% because the usb 3.0 was in the way) but it didnt show up in the BIOS. the SSD did get hot indicating that something was happening. i have a HP ms-7778 motherboard.

We've now got three different subjects going on, an Asian fox and motorbike fetish, two guys talking about Norway invasions and then some other people talking about body building... This thread is turning into a free for all fetish infested Norwegian circle jerk.

Instead of sticking something into a slot without being sure if it belongs there or not, find the manual for the motherboard and read it first.

Is this your motherboard?  The only place I can see where an mSata SSD would go could be that white slot labeled Mini Port just next to the battery.  But I am not sure if it will support a mSata SSD or is it designed for the mini wifi cards.
