Hey! If I OC the GTX 970's memory, how much would I have to OC it to have an acceptable speed on at least a part of the 0.5GB chunk? I once read in here that a guy OC'd it and the card would top out at 3.8GB of memory at a full bandwidth (or at least, a decent speed). Thanks!

Do you have Samsung memory or Hynix memory on your card?

With samsung memory you should easily be able to get above 8000 mhz effective, Hynix usually struggles to get much further than ~7600-7800 effective.

Usually getting close to 8000 mhz will help out quite a bit.

(Install GPU-Z and it will tell you on the main page)
