Im a little stumped

Recently, I posted a thread on this forum asking for a cheap Bluetooth speaker around $50. Last minute before buying it though,  we've decided (its now a Bluetooth speaker for the whole family, owned by me) to raise it to about $100 - which creates a whole new selection.

 

I've came here to ask what are good suggestions.

 

I was going to buy the Creative Muvo Mini - it seems good, esp. for the price.

 

Rn I got my eyes on mainly JBL speakers, namely:

 

+JBL Charge 2

+JBL Pulse

 

I've only ever heard the JBL pulse irl, as my friend owns one, it puts on a real nice light show and its sounds rather real good - for at least the selection of songs that I heard from it, which is usually top-40 songs. I've watched some reviews on YT about it - it does sound real different when its recorded through other peoples mics and playing it back through my headphones - and I can see why.

 

I've never heard the Charge 2 on the other end, but it doesn't seem that bad either, it for sure sounds like it has much more bass then the pulse does, from what iv'e heard from reviews on yt.

 

But honestly, I;m stumped and don't know what to buy. Does anyone have any good suggestions, or own either the charge 2 or pulse and can tell me how each sounds? Thanks.
