Many Choices, Split-Screen app, maybe?

Hi there, LTT forum members!

I have quite an argument with my brain right now, as I'm shopping for a new screen.
Beside the poll...

Does anyone know of any app that actually litteraly splits the screen, not just helps snapping windows?
I mainly ask, since I'm rather into FOV, than all dem pixels and so on, and idea of dual 1080p widescreen... OOOOW ;3

Anyway, thank ya all in advance for any kind of advise on the topic.
