YouTube is extremely slow

I am the only one in my house that has an issue with YouTube being slow, everyone is connected via Ethernet and we have ample download speeds (125 down) but no matter what browser I use my YouTube is extremely slow. Anyone know why this might be? This doesn't happen with any other sites.

Do a virus scan with Malwarebytes, Combofix, TDSkiller, etc. Check your browser extensions for something bad. etc.

Ran a virus scan, nothing came up. This happens on all browsers. Even browsers without any extensions.

Are you connected wired? Have you tried swapping ethernet cables? Try that and updating/reinstalling your ethernet drivers.

I'm connected via ethernet, newest ethernet drivers. This only happens on my network at home, and my PC is the only device that ever has this issue

Did you try switching cables?

And did you actually re-install the driver, or just did the "Check for updates" option? 

 

You might see if you can remove your computer from the network/router's history/queue and get a new IP/connection. Dunno if that will help.

 

 

Is YouTube the ONLY thing with a problem? Check your DNS servers on your computer; there might be something screwy.

A few months. It was bearable, recently it has gotten worse

Looks silly but.... Try power cycling your modem and router.
