Hotkey/Gesture application for Windows

So I'm looking for an application or a way to change my keyboard to make "shortcuts" Like I would like spacebar to play/pause (this already works in Spotify which is the only app I am going to using. Also like sliding my finger up on the touchpad (without anything else) to turn up the volume, down volume down and such. Can anyone give me suggestions? Thank you!
