What do you think about this system:

 

CPU:                         Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3

GPU:                         Asus Radeon R9 390 Strix

PSU                          Corsair RM 550

RAM:                        8gb Corsair Vengeance LP (2x4gb)

Mainboard:               Asus H97M-PLUS

CPU-Cooler:            Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev.B

 

 1TB Seagate HDD + 250gb Samsung 850 EVO SSD

 

Everything will be built into a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv with 5 case fans

Are you gaming on it or are you rendering and such?

Not sure about the CPU cooler and I would go with a RM650 or other 650W PSU, but that's just me, I don't think I'd build a computer with a PSU that wasn't at least 25% over what I thought my peak load would be, just in case you add drives, fans, the thing ages, etc.

 

EDIT: if you aren't rendering you don't need hyperthreading, and an i5 is still slightly cheaper than that xeon plus you can overclock to make it faster for basic computing and games.
