Part of what makes the Rvz01 amazing is it's ability to have up to a 13 inch Gpu inside, I was just wondering if I should go with a blower-type card (like a reference card) so the heat can expelled out through the rear panel, or is it ok to go with a open-air cooled card (like twin frozr, direct-cu, etc..) without raising the overall temps of the system too high.

It would be better for your overall system temps to get a reference cooler rather than an open-air cooler, especially for your kinda compact case that only comes with one (or two) fans.

Also would a card that is shorter help or naw like the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121912&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

I have the FTZ01, basically the Fortress-looking version of the exact same case, and I wouldn't think that an open-air card would have any negative impact on overall temps.  The GPU is pretty well segregated from the rest of the case and has two spots for 120mm fans right over it, so it can pull plenty of fresh air and keep all of that contained in it's little section of the case.  I myself do have a blower style card as I used older parts after an upgrade to build this system, so I made sure the intake fan was in the location directly over the blower.  For an open-air cooled card, it may be a good idea to get an extra fan to populate both spaces with 120mm fans (they are slim fans, so I'd recommend looking up the model number of the fans that come with it and get the same kind)
