It won't format your drive. It'll just upgrade your OS to Windows 10 and leave it at that.

Supposedly, this will work. We probably won't know how it works until Windows 10 is actually available.

You will likely need to install Windows 10 to "update" your Windows 7/8.1 license to a 10 license, at which point it will be valid to activate a clean install from a Windows 10 disk or ISO. That's just my own guess, though.

So which one will be for clean install? "advanced?"

:( so there is no way that i can format my Lock C disk?

My windows file is 74 GB...

You could format it at a later date, but it won't do it when it installs.

We can only take guesses right now.

The prompt you got today is not for Windows 10 itself, it's just to reserve a copy of Windows 10 for later. Windows 10 isn't going to be available for the first wave of updates until July 29.

How to format it i don't have windows 10 disk..

You can make one.

Get a USB stick and create a bootable disk with it. There'll be some instructions strewn all over the internet for it.

The way Microsoft must have done it, is by your previous installation. Your previous Windows 7/8.1 install is activated, and has its own license.

When upgrading to 10, you adopt that same license.

There is no key to enter. If you buy Windows 10 at a store, you'll be givena  licence.

That I don't know. But, I would assume that if there was a key to enter, it would be that of the older copy of Windows.
