Asus M5A97 R2.0 and FX 8350

About 8 Months ago, I switched from an Phenom II x6 1075t to a FX 8350 with a Asus M5A97.I Have overclocked on my Phenom processor (on AIR), i could push the clock from 3.0Ghz to 4.0Ghz. This however has changed with the purchase of the FX 8350. I bought a H100 with the FX chip, same board, and everything else is fairly similar (upgraded to a XFX 750 watt PSU). When i overclock with the 8350 i cant push the clock past 4.4Ghz. It is kinda frustrating to know that i can overclock a full Ghz on the Phenom but i can't on the 8350. If Anyone could Post a guide on how to overclock with the cpu and motherboard in the title, That would be Amazing!

Thanks.

It is possible that you are un-lucky and got an overclocking lemon. It has been stated many times, overclocking is free performance but NEVER guaranteed. Just something to keep in mind.
