New HDD Same SSD

As title states I recently had my old HDD with 2 tb of storage die so i replaced it with a 1 tb HDD 

But i have the same SSD as before with essentials such as OS,Directx,Frameworks.... etc

 

Should i wipe my SSD because i got a new HDD?

I don't see why. Just start putting all your stuff that you had on your old HDD to your new one.

I dont have acess to the old HDD files so would reinstalling them be just as fine?

Hello penguinzs!

 

There is no need for you to wipe the SSD. If you had any software installed on the older HDD then you'd have to reinstall it on the new HDD. Check through Control Panel if such programs are still there and perhaps Uninstall them if they don't work. If you had only normal files on the older HDD, like videos, music, documents, pictures etc., then you should just find a way to move them across.
