Hey guys,

I've recently done my own FT03 Mini build and now a friend is after one, however he isn't happy with the EVGA GTX 760 and is wondering if there is a more powerful GPU that can be fit into the FT03 Mini's small 9.8" GPU limit? Through out all my research i can't find any other options apart from things like the 680 which is getting harder and harder for me to find in supply :( I suppose im also wondering if there is any options state side that would be in the lines of like a 770?

(I'll post pic's of my build as soon as I get around to uploading them)

Thanks,

There's that tiny 670 from Asus. That thing will fit anywhere!

  • 3 weeks later...

Any reference 670 (9.5 inches or 241mm) or reference 680 (10 inches / 254mm) will fit, but the 680 will be a bit of a struggle since 254mm is as long as its going to get.

That cooler does not make any sense in the FT-03 mini, you only get air from below and that cooler dumps all the warm air in the middle of the case instead of pushing it out.

Too bad the reference 7970 card is too long to fit tho...

Or

In short, any blower style cooler that's 10" /254mm OR LESS. will work fine. I nearly died from my nerves when i was done building in a friends FT03 mini and a 680 that had to be squeezed in there, anyway that's my recommendations, if you really want you can have a custom cooled card, just do not expect miracle temperatures.
